Join us for an exclusive screening, followed by a live conversation with the film’s Director and Producer, and an intimate Italian-style reception to close out the evening.
Chef Bill Disselhorst built one of America’s Top 100 restaurants in a tiny cafe in South Pasadena with his wife Anne. After losing her, and eventually the cafe, he returned to Casperia, the small hilltop village in Lazio where the two of them first fell in love with slow food.
The film sold out five screenings at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, received a Jury Award nomination at the Berkshire International Film Festival, and opened the Westchester Italian Film Festival. It is currently on a roadshow across the country, pairing each screening with local restaurants and food communities.
