On Thursday, June 4, 2026, TCAN gathered with friends and longtime supporters to celebrate the people who make it all possible. At the biennial Founders Society Dinner, the organization honored the extraordinary individuals and organizations whose dedication shapes everything TCAN does, from the mainstage shows and community events where the arts come alive, to the arts education programs and movie events that inspire each generation of the community. The evening was a reminder of what sustained generosity can build over time. Each honoree’s contribution, given not in a single moment but across years of steady commitment, has helped TCAN grow into the vibrant creative home it is today.
The 2026 TCAN Founders Award recipients were:
- Michael & Barbara Collins
- Elaine Burns & Jack Memishian
- The Community Foundation of MetroWest
Their continued partnership and generosity have helped sustain the arts across the region, ensuring that TCAN’s programs remain vibrant, accessible, and rooted in community.
Dr. Johanna Perlmutter was also honored with the 2026 TCAN Director’s Award, recognizing hundreds of hours of volunteer service over more than two decades.
To all this year’s honorees, and to everyone who joined in celebrating this milestone evening, TCAN offers its heartfelt thanks. Their support continues to be a driving force behind the organization’s mission, and a source of endless gratitude.
The evening was held at The Verve Hotel Boston Natick Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which generously extended the use of its space, helping to make the night even more special.
