Overview
We believe the arts are crucial to creating a healthy community. An essential element of our mission is to increase opportunities for everyone to experience, participate in, and learn about the arts.
TCAN works to fulfill this mission by offering shared artistic experiences that connect people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. We strive to support the work of local artists, and offer programs to expand access to cultural programming.
Outreach Programs
A Smile in Every Seat
The Smile in Every Seat Program provides free access to TCAN’s programming for economically disadvantaged people and families in Natick and surrounding communities. Free tickets are distributed to local service councils and not-for-profit organizations serving disadvantaged children, families, and the elderly enabling them to attend concerts, family series performances, classical music events, and theater performances.

TCAN is proud to participate in the Card to Culture program, in collaboration with Mass Cultural Council, the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and the Massachusetts Health Connector. We join with over 350 cultural organizations in this endeavor to make the power of culture accessible to a wider range of Massachusetts residents, by offering free or discounted admission to arts programs.
THE ARTS ARE FOR EVERYONE
TCAN’s participation in the Card to Culture program now allows Massachusetts residents with EBT, WIC or ConnectorCare cards to receive a 50% discount on tickets for these TCAN arts programs, subject to ticket availability:
- All regular movie screenings
- Community theater productions
- Family series concerts and events
- Classical music concerts
HOW IT WORKS
