A young boy meets the Onceler and hears his tale of how greed destroyed a once beautiful forest, all the cute and cuddly creatures that lived there, and his future.  He learns that only he can save them all, with one simple act of caring.  This Dr. Seuss tale is even more relevant in today’s world where global warming’s signs indicate our dire need to educate children on living a sustainable lifestyle. The Lorax is a perfect role model.
