For one day only on May 1, 2024, TCAN commemorates Earth Day with a special screening of the award-winning documentary ‘Common Ground’ in the TCAN Screening Room.

Common Ground is the sequel to the phenomenally successful documentary, Kiss The Ground which touched over 1 billion people globally and inspired the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to commit $20 billion toward soil health. Narrated by Laura Dern, Jason Momoa, Rosario Dawson, Ian Somerhalder, Woody Harrelson and Donald Glover, the film fuses journalistic expose with stories from those on the front lines of the food movement unveiling a web of money, power, and politics behind our broken food system. Directed by Josh and Rebecca Tickell, Common Ground provides hope for future generations with concrete ways to fix a broken planetary system.

TCAN is honored to present this film along with our community partner, The Natick Community Organic Farm of Natick. Agricultural experts from Natick Community Organic Farm will be joined by the wider community for a conversation, directly following the documentary.

Join us for this inspiring documentary and Q&A screening event to learn how to help stabilize our “broken” food system with alternative models of agriculture. Common Ground explores how regenerative agriculture can help heal the soil, our health and the planet.
